Verifying pre-packaged cans

Procedures

For self-verification applications:

1. Receiving samples and collecting fees for the verification of pre- packaged cans.

2. Metrology fees are collected.

3. Sample verification is conducted.

4. The result of the verification is handed to the concerned person by an official letter.

In the event of completing inspection and control procedures on imported goods:

• Receiving samples and the customs transaction attached, and collecting fees for the verification of pre- packaged cans.

• Verification is conducted and a reply is sent by an official letter to the Directorate of Border Control or Customs Center to inform them of the result of the verification, attached with the customs transaction.
